Incorporating an ecological slant to our designs is very important to us and this has inspired us to create Clorofila. For this collection, we have combined "ecological" colours with animal prints that dominate considerably in both our swimwear and lingerie collections. We have been very daring and we believe we have cornered the market in this regard. We have combined vintage and retro designs with lace to create products that are both seductive and romantic. This has enabled us to reinvent these product lines, demonstrating innovation in a young market where lace is underused.

This year is a year of reflection for us; a year in which we will dedicate ourselves to developing new strategies to re-launch ourselves...and will look at moving into other markets. This is a long-term strategy; we don't imagine we will conquer a market in one, two or even three years but envisage this will be a five-year process.

There are a lot of commercial strategies that no longer work for fashion designers, especially when you look at the consumer market in the high-end segment we occupy. So we are also looking at how we will enter the mass market and compete on price and how we can adapt to department stores that are already offering great value to their customers through their merchandise.
