A Guide To Sponsoring Sustainable Fashion Design Students

Sponsorship Highlights

The Latest Sale sponsorship programme aims to cover the needs of fashion design students enrolled in universities in the US or the UK. We select candidates based on references provided by the institute and provide materials and technical equipment or monetary aid to each sponsored student.

We purchase products directly from quality suppliers following your contribution. The sponsor’s support is highlighted via blog posts. We verify references and the specific needs of each student before matching a candidate to a sponsor. We assist fashion design students who have varying needs, with their expenses fluctuating throughout the academic year.

Set Your Sponsorship Budget

There are many sponsorship options available for sponsors who wish to support a progressive fashion design student. Each option is accessible via different budget parameters, so you can choose the one that seems the most feasible for you.

We communicate your sponsorship with key stakeholders by deploying press releases that highlight your contribution based on the package you have selected. For instance, if your selected package includes supporting a student with a sewing machine and serger, we create one blog post per contribution. For tuition fee support, we publish two blog posts and carry out other Marketing activities.

Sponsor The Fashion Category

Choose from a range of fashion categories when you support our sponsorship programme. Why not sponsor a student in the purchase of sustainable fabrics, from bamboo lyocell to Piñatex, a sustainable and cruelty-free replacement for leather?

Alternatively, you can sponsor a student’s tuition fees for an academic year. We work with sponsors from the US and the UK and provide specialist materials and fees to students enrolled on fashion courses in fashion schools in either of the two countries.

Anonymity? You Decide!

Whether you wish to keep your identity hidden or known is entirely up to you. Regardless of which option you choose, we will still highlight your contribution to our sponsorship programme through various Marketing outreach campaigns.

We encourage celebrities, corporations, and high net worth individuals to sponsor aspiring and ambitious fashion designers, still in the learning phase. If you want to opt for anonymity, we won’t mention your name anywhere publicly.

Supporting the Creators of Tomorrow

Fashion students enrolled in fashion institutes, and universities are the future of the fashion world. Your contribution to our sponsorship programme will see them through 12 months of four years of hands-on training and learning, allowing them to create new, innovative, sustainable, premium fashion lines.

You never know, in the future, the same designers might be creating couture garments for your high profile event. Regardless of which sponsorship package you choose, your sponsorship can nurture the growth of a young designer looking for a booming career in the fashion world. We provide regular updates of the selected student’s progress throughout the academic year, allowing you to measure their growth through your contribution.

Your involvement won’t just provide monetary aid or practical materials and equipment to the students, but it will equally help them create new opportunities from which they will learn new and improved techniques pertinent to creating top-tier sustainable garments.

Our sponsorship programme covers the expenses of deserving candidates. We select promising students only after verifying the references provided by the institute. After thoroughly assessing the student’s needs, we match them to sponsors who help them build a future. Your contribution today will bring forth the creators of tomorrow. A little push today can help a rising star reach new heights in the fashion world. Think of your sponsorship as giving back to the community.

EVALUATING SUCCESS

Best in class campaign analysis

Latest Sale offers sponsors the opportunity to participate openly and anonymously in Marketing programmes that support the fashion experts of the future. For quality control, all funds raised for sponsorship are directed towards individuals in the fashion industry who are able to demonstrate through referencing their eligibility to apply for sponsorship funding. Third parties are then contacted for references, and each referee differs according to the industry sector of focus.

Fashion students may be enrolled on a course in a University or college in either the UK or the USA with varying needs that are highlighted in our menu of support options. Therefore, in these cases, student references are most likely to derive from Universities, colleges or other learning institutions.

It is important to bear in mind that our sponsorship programmes do not include fashion accessory brands, we only manage programmes for fashion design apparel students. The following sectors are therefore not included in the Sponsor a Creator programme; handbags, belts, eyewear, hair accessories, hats, gloves, scarves, socks, stockings, tights and footwear. Designers who focus on the following areas of fashion are also not part of the programme; lingerie, men’s undergarment brands and casual/ sportswear brands.

Fashion students have varying needs and we offer a broad range of options for sponsors. First, fashion design students would need to be enrolled on an accredited course at a University or college to be eligible for sponsorship. The same would apply for technical fashion students whose support needs would vary immensely.

Sponsors of technical fashion students would normally be supporting students in the development of technical skills that are impacted by access to specific software licenses and regular subscriptions. Fashion design students would have additional needs including support for fashion shows whether this be photographic support, runway design and set up, sourcing fabrics and runway models from agencies.

We are open to sponsorship from philanthropists and corporate organisations who wish to support the fashion industry. Support may also come from musicians whose garments are often created by those who have studied costume design.

We provide at least two sponsorship updates for any sponsorship package valued at over £500.00 especially in the case of payment of course tuition. All sponsors will know who their support has reached and we aim to match you with a suitable student for sponsorship within three months from date of receipt of sponsor funds.

Our commission fee for managing the programmes on your behalf and that of fashion students ranges from between 15-20%. Prices indicated on the website are inclusive of all fees and taxes both in the UK and the USA. Other timing parameters for sponsorship updates apply for projects that last less than 3 months. All fashion student sponsorship projects last a maximum of 12 months.
