These guidelines aim to ensure that trustworthy sources of health information are easily accessible to internet users globally. Participants at the December 2021 WHO meet up noted that these concepts are universally applicable. However, they also highlighted the difficulties that political, linguistic, and cultural factors present when establishing confidence amongst stakeholders. The project will stimulate knowledge sharing across the sector with data safety and accuracy concerns at the forefront.
