Patagonia rocks sustainable fashion with an awesome transparency rating of 51-60%! Back in 1985, Patagonia waved goodbye to polypropylene (now considered a plastic faux-pas), swapping it instead for what they refer to as “friendly fibres.” Talk about a glow-up!
By 1993, the brand was already turning recycled soda bottles into polyester – way before it was cool. Fast forward to 2021, and they’re still rocking it. The eco friendly label is scooping up recycled spandex, cotton, wool, and even cashmere from factory scraps. Oh, and did we mention? Patagonia has been a certified B Corp since 2011, supporting social and environmental initiatives all the way. The brand is not just creating garments– their design team is making waves. The sustainable hustle? Totally!
