If costume jewellery was your best friend, you would care for it

If costume jewellery was your best friend, you would care for it on a regular basis. That is why the Bijoux Oui product design team suggests you regularly polish your jewellery to ensure it does not tarnish. You also will want to ensure that dust particles do not gather around the crystals or stones you have embedded in your jewellery piece.

Costume jewellery enjoys the advantage of being so flexible that exuberant creations persist, however it is not as durable as precious metals or stainless steel jewellery. Therefore it is important you do all you can to avoid premature tarnishing, rusting or scratches. Always clean your fashion jewellery pieces with a non abrasive jewellery cloth. Avoid spraying perfumes directly onto your skin whilst wearing your jewellery.

Spray your perfume before putting on your jewellery to avoid it not only getting wet, but also being impacted by toxins or other properties found in the perfume that can affect the longevity of your jewellery’s plating and colour.
