Any Product That Needs A Manual To Work Is Broken, Elon Musk

“Any product that needs a manual to work is broken”– Elon Musk.Latest Sale lives by this famous Elon Musk motto when we select our product offerings. That is why fine art commissions handled by Latest Sale are always custom made and simplified so that they meet with customer needs and are clearly functional. Latest Sale was briefed on the 12 month art commissions project in April 2013 following a £7m refurbishment of the hotel. The full art commissions project was completed by April 2014. Rooms on all floors of the Hotel Indigo London Kensington-Earl’s Court were adorned with revamped, vibrant room signage that cleverly blend the North American surrealist and street artist Courtney Cornelius Adams’ style and humour with the hotel’s heritage and the importance the Hotel Indigo attaches to neighbourhoods. British fashion inspiration was used for the ‘Do Not Disturb’ male and female signs and a homage to the English game of football was made through the ‘Housekeeping‘ sign.

The Courtney Cornelius Adams eclectic street art style is further encapsulated with a vibrant Street Art video developed by the Latest Sale team. An enigmatic showcase of cubism, surrealism and urban artistry at its very best to instil imagination in all those who seek to work with independent companies such as Latest Sale on art commissions that are truly original.

Art commissions carried out at the Hotel Indigo, London Kensington- Earl’s Court as commissioned by Lord Vincent Pountain-Garrington, then General Manager of the hotel, also included portraits of the Lord and Lady of the House. Art commissions for Hotel Management portraits under direction of the Latest Sale Fine Art team, were carried out by portrait artist Francesco Jacobello.

The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHGrecognises hotels that achieve outstanding results and those that bring the brand to life when looking after guests, employees and the local community. The Hotel Indigo London Kensington Earl’s Court was awarded the highest honour, the IHG Star Awards prize. The IHG Hotel Indigo of the year for Europe Award 2014 was awarded to the Hotel Indigo London Kensington-Earl’s Court in November 2014.

We continue to remain in close touch with the original team members from this award winning IHG (Intercontinental Hotels Group) luxury 4* boutique hotel and look forward to undertaking even more exciting art commissions with luxury hotel brands in the near future.
